Vintage Sohna Chandi Ghungat Bagh. This rare piece is very old with visible ageing. The subtle work for the ghungat makes this Bagh more special and comes with a dominant najar battu. Purdah in style was an intelligent idea at the time of strong patriarchal traditions. Sohna Chandi was also synonymous to dhoop chaav. It has the customary lozenges signifying family, society, village, earth. it also has a kanghiyan (comb) motif as well in the repeat.
