Black Pottery Jug
Black Pottery Jug
Introducing our Black Pottery Fossil look Jug, a stylish and functional addition to your table. This carefully crafted jug combines elegance with a generous capacity, perfect for serving your favorite beverages. Its unique design showcases deep black and contrasting hues, adding a striking touch to any setting. Made from alluvial clay found in Sung Valley, West Jaintia Hills, this pottery incorporates two types of clay: the red clay and the black clay. Additionally, a special ingredient called serpentine stone, sourced exclusively from Sung Valley, is crushed and mixed with the clay to enhance its strength and resistance to thermal shock. Unlike traditional methods, a natural dye made from the bark of the Myrica nagi tree, locally known as the 'Sohlia' tree, is used to instantly turn the hot sintered clay pottery into a permanent black and red hues. This unique process, known as the miracle cold process, sets our black pottery apart and adds a touch of tradition and character to your dining experience. It is perfect for serving hot water for steeping tea, allowing you to enjoy a delightful cuppa.
