Punarnawa Soul of Artistry
Gold & Ivory Assam Muga Handloom Silk Sari (Made to order)
Gold & Ivory Assam Muga Handloom Silk Sari (Made to order)
Punarnawa ethically sources rare and exquisite Assamese Muga silk from the indigenous tribes of Assam, a spiritual and delicate harvesting process. The Muga Sumoni, cared for by 24 hour protectors, is predicted to become extinct due to the climate crisis in the next 20-30 years. Our sarees are crafted with the finest Katiya Muga silk with its natural golden luster, exclusively designed for clients with naturally dyed extra weft in natural silk like Eri, Muga, Tussar.
Exquisitely crafted with supple Muga yarns intertwined in both warp and weft, the captivating extra weft reveals natural Eri silk florals within mughal paisley arranged to emulate the chic countenance of the peacock. A dainty border of small ambis crafted on a base of Muga and interwoven with charming natural white Eri silk completes the look.
