Longpi Black Pottery Zam-Ancient Brew Pot

Zam is an Indian traditional alcohol beverage brewing pot, also known as a pickle pot. It is handcrafted in stoneware and made to last. Zam helps in fermentation and ageing of the drink being brewed to ensure maximum taste and health.

The motifs used in the Zam pot are synonymous to the Tangkhul Naga culture. Hunting weapons, buffalo skull and a house signifies the importance of their survival and wealth in the past in the high altitude and difficult terrain.
