Regular dusting, with either a soft dusting cloth or a dust brush vacuum attachment, maintains the gloss. Annually you can use a regular brushing with the linseed oil and sun dry it. Occasionally you can use mild detergent and water to clean the stain or dirt from the surface but ensure you completely dry it. Avoid using water if you live in a high moisture weather.
